Avalon Biomedical (Shenzhen) Limited entered into a distribution agreement with Omron Healthcare (China), a leading healthcare company focusing on wearable medical devices, disease prevention and treatment. The neonatal business division of Omron Healthcare (China) will be responsible for the promotion, sales, marketing, and distribution of KangaLite in China. The neonatal business division covers major tertiary hospitals, teaching hospitals and top-ranked children’s hospitals. Through a series of academic activities in major conferences and promotion, this collaboration with Omron is expected to open up a significant market opportunity for KangaLite in both healthcare institutions and home use settings.

KangaLite is designed to make the treatment of neonatal jaundice at home possible. It is a wearable phototherapy device which promotes kangaroo care as well as breast-feeding. More importantly, KangaLite offers an ideal option for home phototherapy during COVID-19 pandemic.
